Detonators

DYNAWELL Fluid-Disabled Detonators ensure desensitisation after just two minutes of submersion in water to protect encapsulated perforating systems from leakage.

DYNAWELL Pressure-Resistant Detonators are specially designed for exposed use in oilfields, even when subject to caustic well bore fluids.

The new DYNAWELL Electronic Detonators allow wireline explosive operations to be performed without turning off radios or electric power sources. They are available for fluid-disabled and pressure-resistant use as well as for plug setting tools and can be installed just like any standard detonator.

For TCP applications DYNAWELL provides Percussion Initiators to fit almost all existing TCP firing heads.

The DYNAWELL Igniter is standardised for use in baker setting tools and a wide range of chemical cutters.

Boosters

The DYNAWELL Bi-Directional Booster has been specially developed to cover all applications where tandem booster connections are required. This product utilises HMX and HNS, optimized for a maximum transfer of explosive energy over a given air gap.

The explosive load is encapsulated to prevent users from accidentally getting in contact with the pressed powder explosive used in the booster.

Users should satisfy themselves if this product is suitable for the application in question.

Detonating Cords

DYNAWELL PT Detonating Cords have been specifically developed for oilfield use, either exposed to the well bore or in encapsulated perforating systems.

Since they use RDX, HMX or HNS explosives optimised to a high detonating velocity, these Detonating Cords are resistant to high temperatures and pressures and are covered in a pressure- and temperature-resistant jacket to protect them from the effects of caustic fluids.

DYNAWELL T Detonating Cords, which were specially developed as an alternative to the PT Detonating Cords, are engineered for sole use in encapsulated perforating systems. Their higher flexibility makes them extremely suitable for high shot densities. These detonating cords are available for use with RDX and HMX explosives.

Special PETN Detonating Cords are available for low-temperature applications and use in hollow carrier guns only.

Sharp Charges

Charges for oilfield applications require the highest quality standards to ensure the best possible perforation performance.

DYNAWELL produces Deep-Penetrating Shaped Charges, Big Hole Shaped Charges, Good Hole Shaped Charges and Through Tubing Shaped Charges, manufactured in one of the world's most modern automated production plants. Product quality is controlled to the highest industry standards and supervised by a team of qualified engineers.

Tubing Convey Perforating (TCP) Tools

DYNAWELL TCP tools enable you to run your TCP operations in the most sophisticated and customised fashion. Since each job is specifically tailored to both the properties of the formation and the long-term completion and production schedule, the number of configurations may be unlimited.

DYNAenergetics provides customised TCP systems to meet unique customer needs and well applications. The TCP tool range includes mechanical and hydraulic firing systems, gun releases and under-balancing devices as well as a variety of auxiliary components.

All TCP systems are designed to run with all DYNAenergetics Expendable Casing Gun Systems for the best possible perforation performance.

RF Safe System

Oilfield accidents involving wireline perforating still happen. Frequently they are caused by the unintentional premature firing of explosives caused by extraneous electricity stray current or voltage, static electricity or high-frequency irradiation. DYNAenergetics has taken a huge step forward to creating a safe environment with a solution that provides protection against all kinds of extraneous electricity.

Selective Perforating System

Various wireline service companies have come up with methods for sequential perforations. Almost all these solutions have their shortcomings. But now a recently developed method for monoconductor wirelines takes advantage of the safety features of the DYNAWELL RF-Safe Electronic Detonator to enable sequential perforation of multiple zones, simply by using a small, additional electronic component a small addressable Selectronic Switch made by ANTARES Datensysteme.

This Switch is mounted inside each gun body together with the DYNAWELL RF-Safe Electronic Detonator. Each detonator-switch combination can be individually addressed using the Selectronic software on a standard PC in conjunction with the DYNAWELL handheld Selectronic Firing Panel or the enhanced rack-mounted Multitronic Firing Panel.
